What Shopify Admin still does
Purchase orders, transfers between locations and on-hand quantities now live in Shopify Admin. If your team mostly creates simple POs and receives stock, that covers it.
What it doesn't give you is the part Stocky's forecasting used to do: telling you which SKUs will run out and how many to order. Min/max forecasting was already removed in July 2025.
The logic you need to rebuild
For each SKU you only need three inputs: current stock, average daily sales over the last 2–4 weeks, and your supplier's lead time.
From those: days of stock left = stock ÷ daily sales. Stock at arrival = stock − daily sales × lead time. If stock at arrival is near zero, the PO goes out today. Order enough to cover 14 days after the delivery, minus what's still on the shelf.
Doing it from a Shopify export
Export products with inventory, plus an orders export for the last 30 days. Drop either (or both) into the calculator below. It skips cancelled and refunded lines, merges duplicate SKUs, and sorts by what runs out first. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
When a spreadsheet stops being enough
If you have hundreds of SKUs or several sales channels, re-exporting every week gets old. That's when a connected tool is worth it. Before paying, check two things: does it account for days you were out of stock (otherwise it under-orders your bestsellers), and does it tell you where your team already works instead of asking you to open another dashboard.
