1. Get a read-only key from Shopify
- Shopify admin › Settings › Apps and sales channels › Develop apps › Create an app
- Under Admin API scopes pick only read_products, read_inventory, read_orders.
- Install the app and paste the Admin API Access Token.
2. Connect Telegram
- Message @BotFather with /newbot to create a bot and get its token.
- Invite the bot to the chat and send one message.
- Open https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates and copy the chat id.
3. Paste both into Indigo Agent
Sign up with your email, choose the system and the messenger, and paste the values. The first check runs right away.
FAQ
Can Indigo Agent change anything in Shopify?
No. It only uses read permissions. Nothing is written back to Shopify.
Does it cost anything to send to Telegram?
Connecting and alerts are free. Telegram itself may have its own message limits on free plans.
