1. Get a read-only key from Excel / Google Sheets
- Any WMS or ERP works if it can export stock to a spreadsheet. Paste it into Google Sheets and copy the ‘File › Share › Publish to web › CSV’ link.
- Columns named SKU (or item code), name and stock (or available / qty) are detected automatically.
- Edit the sheet and the next sync picks it up. Switch systems any time; the agent stays the same.
2. Connect Telegram
- Message @BotFather with /newbot to create a bot and get its token.
- Invite the bot to the chat and send one message.
- Open https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates and copy the chat id.
3. Paste both into Indigo Agent
Sign up with your email, choose the system and the messenger, and paste the values. The first check runs right away.
FAQ
Can Indigo Agent change anything in Excel / Google Sheets?
No. It only uses read permissions. Nothing is written back to Excel / Google Sheets.
Does it cost anything to send to Telegram?
Connecting and alerts are free. Telegram itself may have its own message limits on free plans.
